Go Hogs!!

Welcome to the University of Arkansas Band Website where opportunities abound for involvement in the UA Band family. Inside you will find a number of pages that should provide ready access detailing every aspect of our nationally renowned band program. Whether as an observer or participant, in the concert hall or at athletic events, as a student, alumnus, or distant admirer, I invite you to explore the rich history and tradition of the University of Arkansas Bands.

Each year, our athletic bands perform before over a million people, including the fans who regularly pack Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas, War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Through rehearsals, travel, and the excitement of marching in front of thousands of cheering fans, the members of the Razorback Band share rich experiences that create social as well as musical bonds. The "Best in Sight and Sound" is comprised of 325 members which includes 62 different majors and achieved an impressive grade point average of 3.34 in 2006-07. With over 200 auditions this past year, we are looking for the largest band in Razorback history in the fall of 2008. It is truly an exciting time to be part of the Razorback Band family!

Thank you for visiting our site. We are committed to continually developing these pages in order to provide the best possible service access to our program. I hope that you will visit with us again and again and find our page to be a useful tool. If you have any comments or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us
