REGISTRATION LEVELS AND ROUTINES

Twirler is just beginning to take lessons or has never twirled before. The baton will not leave the twirler's hand.

The routine will include 2 or 3 spins, toss illusions, toss cartwheels, trick of choice (spin illusion, 3 spin or any trick of choice), and two and three baton .

Perform your own routine of choice that includes 3+ spins, double illusions, advanced body work, 2, 3, and 4 baton work. Must be an Advanced Twirler. 

 

SCHEDULE

Saturday, November 23rd 

  • 9:00am  Drop-off, Registration (Walker Pavilion Outdoor Field) 
    • Participants and registered guests can be dropped off on the south side of the HPER building on Meadow St (here). We will have staff available to direct them. Only registered guests of twirlers 13 and under are allowed to stay with their twirler past this point.
  • 9:30am Warm-Up (Walker Pavilion Outdoor Turf Field - Do Not Go On The Grass Field)
  • 10:00am Rehearsal with the Razorback Marching Band (Walker Indoor Pavilion)
  • 11:00am Meal (HPER)
  • 12:00pm Free Time (Walker Indoor Pavilion or Hogwalk)
    • During this time you are free to check out the gameday atmosphere around Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium! The Razorback Twirlers will be near Lot 300 (formerly Lot 44) outside the north endzone of the stadium, leading the football team down the Hogwalk and performing at the HogTown Pep Rally. Twirler Day participants are welcome to join. 
  • 1:15pm Poster Signing Session By Razorback Twirlers
  • 1:45pm Line Up (Walker Pavilion)
    • Be back in Walker Indoor Pavilion! Twirlers and their one additional guest will be given a wristband which will serve as their ticket to enter the stadium with the Razorback Marching Band. We will also take a group photo with baton in performance t-shirt (provided), black shorts with tights or black leggings, and tennis shoes.
  • 2:30pm Depart for Stadium 
  • 3:00pm Kickoff!  Go Hogs! Beat Bulldogs! 
  • Halftime On field halftime performance!

GUEST TICKETS

Purchase tickets for your guests to the game at arkansasrazorbacks.com. You may choose from discouted tickets using this link and typing in the Promo Code "TWIRLERDAY." Please keep in mind that Twirler Day participants will perform to the west side of the stadium during halftime.

FAQ’s

Black shorts with tights or black leggings, twirling shoes, hair in a ponytail or bun. Twirler Day shirts provided at check-in. Feel free to add long white or black sleeve layers under Twirler Day shirt.
Participants will be seated on bleachers in front of the Razorback Marching Band in section E126 during the game.

FHS

Fayetteville Band Boosters offer parking at the high school for $20/vehicle in all the lots surrounding Fayetteville High School. This is where Razorback Band kids park. About a 10-minute walk to the Walker Indoor Pavilion. 

EAST BAUM PARKING LOT

There is limited (very limited) free parking near the band shed in the parking lot across the street, directly east of Baum Stadium. From there it is a 20-minute walk to Walker Indoor Pavilion.

One guest is included during registration for Twirler Day participants ages 5-13 on the bleachers in front of the RMB (included in registration). All other guests of participants ages 5-13 will sit on the seat assigned to their ticket in Step 2 above.
Except for bags required for childcare or medical conditions, the only permitted bags allowed at Razorback Athletic Events must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and cannot exceed 12” x 6” x 12” or a one-gallon freezer bag. Small clutch purses, no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”, the size of the palm of your hand, with or without a handle or strap are also permitted.

Due to space limitations Twirler Day participants ages 14 and older are not allowed to have a guest sit on the bleachers in front of the band. Guests will sit on the seat assigned to the ticket they purchased in Step 2 above. An itinerary will be provided the week before the game detailing when and where you will drop off/pick up your twirler.
No. Guests are not permitted to be on the field at any point during the game. Twirlers will be under supervision of the University of Arkansas Bands staff and Razorback Twirlers during the performance.
Twirler Day Participants will perform to the home (west) side of the stadium.
The University of Arkansas Bands YouTube channel will post the performance within 24 hours of the game.
Because of television broadcast scheduling, the kickoff time for the game is not likely to be announced until the week before the game. We anticipate sending out the itinerary (including parking information) to all participants the day after the kickoff time is announced.

No, we’re sorry. Managing the logistics of Twirler Day means we cannot save a spot.
Yes, however there is no reduction in cost of the Twirler Day registration.
